Open the Fin AI chat in the editor and describe a change in plain words. Fin AI edits the form directly. There's nothing to copy and paste.

## Make a change

1. **Open the chat**

    Click into the prompt bar at the bottom of the editor, or choose **Open full chat** for a side panel with your history.

2. **Describe what you want**

    For example:

    - *"Add a page asking for shipping address, with country as a dropdown."*
    - *"Only show the dietary question if they're attending in person."*
    - *"Make every question required except the comments."*

3. **Review the result**

    Each change appears as a chip, such as **Added 3 blocks** or **Updated logic**. Click **Show AI activity** to see exactly what was done.

## Undo

Every AI message has an undo button that reverts all of its changes at once. If you've edited the same blocks by hand since then, Finerlise undoes what it safely can and tells you which parts it kept.

:::tip[Fin AI asks when it's unsure] If your request is ambiguous, Fin AI asks a short question first, often with options to pick from, instead of guessing. :::

## Chats

- **New chat** starts a fresh conversation.
- **Recent chats** lists earlier conversations for this form. You can archive ones you're done with.
