Put short questions side by side, like _First name_ and _Last name_, so your form takes less scrolling.

## Add columns

Press `/` and choose **2 columns** or **3 columns**. Finerlise inserts a row with an empty block in each column, and you type or insert a question into each one.

To move an existing block into a column, select it and choose **Move into new column**, or drag it to the left or right edge of another block.

## Adjust columns

- **Resize:** drag the handle between two columns. Choose **Equal column widths** to reset them.
- **Take a block out:** select it and choose **Move out of columns**.
- **Remove the row:** choose **Unwrap columns** to turn the row back into ordinary stacked blocks.

A row can hold up to four columns.

Columns can't be used on end pages.
