Moving from paper, another form tool or a PDF? Upload it and Fin AI rebuilds it as a Finerlise form.

1. **Choose Import a form**

    On the dashboard, click **New form** → **Import a form**.

2. **Upload your file**

    Pick what you want to import:

    | You upload | What happens |
    | --- | --- |
    | A **PDF** | Fin AI reads it directly. |
    | **Screenshots** (up to 4) | Fin AI reads the images, which works well for forms in other tools. |
    | A **document** (Word, Excel, text…) | Finerlise extracts the text and sends it to Fin AI. The file must be under 1 MB. |

3. **Check the result**

    Review the new form, fix anything Fin AI misread, then publish.

:::note You can import one document at a time. If a document is over 1 MB, save it as a PDF and import that instead. :::

:::tip For a form from another tool, take screenshots of every page, including choice lists and dropdowns, so Fin AI can see all the options. :::
