Templates give you a complete form to start from, with questions, logic and design already in place.

## Use a template

1. **Open Templates**

    Click **Templates** in the sidebar, or choose a template from the **New
    form** dialog.

2. **Browse by category**

    Templates are grouped into **Feedback**, **Leads**, **Events**, **Intake**,
    **Hiring**, **Quizzes** and **Research**. Open one to preview it.

3. **Use it**

    Click **Use template**. Finerlise copies it into your workspace as a new
    form that you can edit freely.

## Save your own template

Built a form your team reuses, like an onboarding checklist or a client intake form? Save it as a **workspace template**.

1. Open the form's menu and choose **Save as template**.
2. Give it a name and description.
3. Everyone in the workspace can now find it under **Templates** and start new forms from it.

:::note A template is a copy. Changing a form made from a template never changes the template, and editing the template doesn't touch forms already made from it. :::
