Branching skips pages that don't apply. For example, send freelancers straight past the "Company details" page, or end the form early for people who don't qualify.

## Set up a branch

1. **Open Branching**

Open the logic editor and go to **Branching**.

2. **Add a rule**

Set **When** to a condition, for example *Are you a freelancer?* **Is**
    *Yes*.

3. **Choose where to go**

Under **Go to**, pick a page, an end page, or **Next question** to carry on
    as normal.

4. **Set the fallback**

**All other cases go to** decides where everyone else goes. By default,
    that's the next page.

Rules are checked from top to bottom, and the first match wins. Use **Move up** and **Move down** to reorder them.

## What you can do

| Action | Result |
| --- | --- |
| **Jump to page** | Skips ahead to a later page. |
| **Show page** | Reveals a page that's hidden until a condition matches. |
| **Show end page** | Submits the response and shows a specific [end page](/get-started/end-pages). |
| **End form** | Submits the response and shows the default end page. |
| **Redirect** | Submits the response and sends respondents to a URL. |

:::note You can only jump forward. To send someone back, show them a page that would otherwise be skipped. :::

**[End pages](/get-started/end-pages)**

Different outcomes for different people.

**[Multi-page forms](/get-started/multi-page-forms)**

Split your form into pages.
