Calculations change the value of a [calculated field](/blocks/calculated-fields) based on answers. Use them for quiz scores, price quotes, lead scoring and personality tests.

## Keep a score

1. **Add a calculated field**

    Press `/`, choose **Calculated**, name it *Score* and set the type to
    **Number**.

2. **Open Calculations**

    Open the logic editor and go to **Calculations**.

3. **Add a rule for each answer**

    For example: **When** *Capital of France* **Is** *Paris*, **Add** `1` to
    *Score*.

4. **Use the score**

    Show it on the end page with `@Score`, or send people to different end pages
    based on it.

## Operations

| Operation    | Example                                     |
| ------------ | ------------------------------------------- |
| **Assign**   | Set _Plan price_ to `49`.                   |
| **Add**      | Add `1` to _Score_.                         |
| **Subtract** | Subtract `10` from _Budget left_.           |
| **Multiply** | Multiply _Total_ by _Quantity_.             |
| **Divide**   | Divide _Total_ by `12` for a monthly price. |

You can calculate with a fixed number or with another numeric answer.
