1. Go to **Settings → Billing** and click **Redeem a gift**, or open your gift link.
2. Enter the code and choose a workspace you own.
3. Confirm. The gift's plan and length are applied to that workspace.

## Problems redeeming

| Message | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| That gift code isn't valid. | Check the code for typos. |
| That gift code has expired. | Ask the sender for a new one. |
| That gift code has already been used. | Each code works once. |
| Choose a workspace you own. | Only the workspace owner can redeem a gift. |
| That workspace already has a subscription. | Claiming the gift replaces the current subscription. |
| Too many attempts. | Wait 15 minutes and try again. |
