If people start your form but don't finish, drop-off analysis shows you where they leave.

## Where to look

- **Overview → Drop-offs** shows how many people started answering, how many completed, your completion rate and the average completion time.
- **Insights** blocks **Page funnel**, **Page drop-offs** and **Question drop-offs** show exactly which page or question loses people. See [Insights dashboards](/responses/insights-dashboards).

## Fixing drop-off

- Move hard or personal questions (like phone number) later in the form.
- Remove questions you don't really need, or make them optional.
- Split long pages into [multiple pages](/get-started/multi-page-forms) with a progress bar.
- Turn on [partial submissions](/settings/partial-submissions) so you keep the answers people did give.
- Test two versions against each other with an [experiment](/responses/experiments-ab-testing).
