Checkboxes and Multi-select
Let respondents choose several options from a list.
Both blocks let respondents choose more than one option:
- Checkboxes (
/checkbox) shows every option with a checkbox. Best for short lists. - Multi-select (
/multi) shows options as compact, selectable chips. Best when you have more options or less space.
Settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Minimum selection / Maximum selection | For example, “pick 2 to 3 topics”. |
| Option exclusivity | Makes an option deselect all the others, such as None of the above. |
| Randomize options | Shuffles the order for each respondent. |
| Option descriptions | Adds helper text under each option. |
| Other option | Lets respondents type an answer that isn’t listed. |
