Glossary
The words Finerlise uses, and what they mean.
| Term | Meaning |

| Workspace | Holds your forms, members, plan and settings. Billing and limits belong to a workspace. |
| Form | A questionnaire in a workspace, with a draft you edit and versions you publish. |
| Folder | A group of forms in a workspace. Folders can nest up to five levels. Forms in no folder are Unsorted. |
| Block | Anything on a form: a question, text, image, divider or column row. |
| Component | A bare input without its question title, inserted from the slash menu. |
| Page | One screen of a form. Long forms are split into pages. |
| End page | What respondents see after submitting. Each form has a Default end page and can have more. |
| Publish | Make your current draft live for respondents. Each publish is a deployment. |
| Response / Submission | One person’s answers. Completed when submitted, Partial when saved before finishing. |
| Logic | Rules that show, hide, branch, calculate or redirect based on answers. |
| Calculated field | A hidden variable, such as a score or total, that logic updates. |
| Hidden field | A value captured from the form link’s URL parameters and stored with each response. |
| Answer recall | Inserting an earlier answer into later text with @. |
| Share link | A separate, trackable link to a form with its own expiry, use limit and prefilled answers. |
| Return flow | Sending people from your website to a form and back with a response_id. |
| Custom domain | Your own hostname, like forms.yourcompany.com, serving your forms. |
| Theme | A saved design (colors, fonts, spacing, CSS) you can apply to forms. |
| Fin AI | The assistant that builds, edits and reviews forms. |
| Agent | Fin AI for the whole workspace, which answers questions across forms and responses. |
| Autofield | An AI-filled column in the submissions table. |
| Experiment | An A/B test between the live form (Control) and one or more variants. |
| Integration | A connection that sends responses to another tool. |
| Workspace API key | A secret your server uses to read responses through the API. |
| Connected app | An app, like Zapier, authorized with OAuth to access your workspace. |
| Seat | One member of a workspace. |
