Answer recall
Insert earlier answers into question titles, text and end pages to make your form feel personal.
Answer recall (sometimes called answer piping) inserts a respondent’s earlier answer into later text. For example:
Nice to meet you, Ada! What brings you to Finerlise?
Insert an answer
- Click into a question title, a text block, a choice label or an end page.
- Type
@and choose the question whose answer you want to show. - Optionally set a fallback, which is the text shown when the question wasn’t answered, like there.

Good places to use it
- Greeting people by name on later pages.
- Confirming details before submitting: “We’ll send the invoice to @Email.”
- Showing a score on the end page: “You scored @Score out of 10.”
