Partial submissions

Save respondents' answers even if they don't finish your form.

With Partial submissions on, answers are saved as respondents go, even if they never click submit. You can follow up on almost-complete applications and see exactly where people stop.

Turn it on

1. Go to Settings → Responses → Partial submissions.
2. Read and accept the short policy: tell respondents that answers may be saved, don’t use unfinished responses for marketing without consent, and delete what you don’t need.

Incomplete responses then appear in your submissions, marked as partial.

Good to know

• Signatures aren’t saved in partial submissions, for security reasons.
• Partial submissions don’t sync to integrations and don’t trigger email notifications. Only completed responses do.
• Set a separate retention period for partial submissions to delete them automatically.
