Respondent identity and sign-in
Choose whether respondents stay anonymous, give an email, or sign in before filling in your form.
Under Settings → Access → Respondent identity, choose how respondents identify themselves:
| Option | What happens |
|---|---|
| Anonymous | Respondents don’t have to identify themselves. |
| Use email field to collect email | Each response is linked to one Email question in your form, which you pick. |
| Native Sign In (shown as Sign in to submit in the editor) | Respondents sign in with Google or a Finerlise account before opening the form. |
When to use sign-in
- Allow One response per account with duplicate prevention.
- Send response receipts to a verified address.
- Know exactly who submitted, for example for internal or members-only forms.
